What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIII)

2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
After all that noisy Zeppelin stuff, I had to recover with some Mozart. This beautiful rendition of symphony no. 38 (Prague) by Jeffrey Tate and the English Chamber Orchestra.
Final Zep of the evening.
Led Zeppelin IV - SHM CD.
Last one for tonight, back to where I started, with Planty ............. and why not?
Robert Plant - Manic Nirvana.
(1973)
My last LZ of the night and this one a Japanese SHM-CD rip, I perhaps need to edit the artwork metadata to show the Obi.
Phew, that was a LOUD evening!
Was just heading to the record racks to find a Pink Floyd album, when suddenly spotted the spine of this gem.
Various Artists
Ed Sheeran
Starting this morning with the beautiful voice of Katie Melua.

Hopefully my CD should be arriving today...
Jackson Browne. Running On Empty (1977). On original CD from 1987. A mix of recordings from live concerts, hotel rooms and backstage that give a unique feel for life on the road of a musician.
When I heard the Neil Cowley Trio for the first time (on Tidal) I somehow didn't like it. But now I am really enjoying this CD of his.
Przemysław Rudź - Self-replicating Intelligent Spawn
Goodness knows how you pronounce his name (I just make a vaguely imaginary Polish sound in my head, perhaps a kind Pole will educate me), but he's a sort-of Polish Jean Michel Jarre and very good too. And he had the honour of being my walking music today (weather: dreary and chilly), and it really cheered me up.
* by the way, does anyone ever view these links? Am I wasting my time?
Anyway, he's on Bandcamp and they're all very good indeed

Thanks for taking the trouble Gary, I look at them. I'll be checking this one out later in the day...
On ripped CD; very smooth and relaxing week-end (and holidays) start

Folklore by Big Big Train
News of their next album being released at the end of April gave me a nudge to play their latest album.
