What's this like? I don't have this one and wonder whether I ought to buy it.

It's quite good nice ensemble playing. Perhaps you can nowadays buy them in a double package as you also have a Tokyo Live version. I would recommend this.

Going back to an oldie. While I like the live version on Afro Blue Impressions much better, the version in this record is a bit too relaxed...

The studio recording Day Trip is good if a bit  noodly in places but the live Tokyo Day Trip is really good with great drive and a powerful "spacious" sound.  If you like Metheny it's definitely worth a punt - I take it you don't have Tidal Clive ?

2016 - Tidal...

One of the albums which might not be so well known, but at a very high level of playing...

Little Feat - Down on the Farm.

Inspired by Raider's shout for Dixie Chicken, some more Southern fried funk 'n boogie.

Thanks, both Nick and Bert. I've never minded a bit of noodling, being a habitual noodler myself(!). I shall explore and add it to my shopping basket.

I did have Tidal for the trial period and for a couple of months after that, but found I didn't really use it enough, yet when I did, I felt guilty that I wasn't playing the vinyl and CD albums that I'd paid for. It's a medium I didn't really use to the full and one that feels a bit alien to me.

Little Feat - Electrif Lycanthrope.

You can never have too much Feat, so this live album, previously available only as a bootleg.
