This is the only recording of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach I have. But it's a nice one. Also great sound quality.
Duke Garwood
Garden of Ashes - Tidal HiFi
As ordered had a listen this morning, Good album for a late night listen but far to slow and mellow for the first album of the day, feel like i want to go back to bed. Will listen to Ewemon's recommendation tonight. Now what album will i play to wake me up!

Son of James McMurtry.
Are they similar in style Ewen?
Nope, I would certainly give this a listen before buying as unless it is going to take repeated plays it ain't a good album
On original vinyl
Yes: 90125. CD rip. One good thing about ripping a CD collection is that you rediscover some albums that haven't been played in a while or have been forgotten. This is an interesting time machine for 1980's pop production.
RUSH - Grace Under Pressure
On CD:-
Roger Waters - Radio KAOS
I see Roger Waters has issued the release date for his new album 'Is This the Life We Really Want' .......19 May.
This is a magnificent debut solo album from Anita Baker particular the majestic "No More Tears" track..
The Songstress (1983 US 8-track vinyl.
(1976)
On SHMCD as Audirvana Plus has decided to be a pain in the neck and refuse to load any music, however the album is sounding wonderful in this format.

An absolute classic, esp track one, side one: count the quacks!
A + | WAV
(1985)
Audirvana Plus (A+) has decided to play ball again, so going with a 'Tops album where they were fully embracing the commercial (money making) potential of TexMex/Rock & Blues and what a great formula it was.

I bought their Don't Stop The Rock single where they ripped off Status Quo.
Mainly because they'd ripped off Status Quo...
