stunning musicianship on this album, not one of hers I seem to play that often. I have no idea why that is, rectifying that oversight now.
Earlier: U2 - The Joshua Tree
(1987) CD Was listening to SiriusXM channel "First Wave" earlier in the week and they mentioned this was now 30 yrs old. It can't be. With all the new music (and old new music to me), haven't listened to it in a while.
Joy Division - Permanent: Joy Division 1995
CD. Is in the same drawer row with U2 and New Order, so time for a listen.
Now: Morphine - yes
(1995) CD. After the uplifting musings of Joy Division, felt like some Morphine. Another one I haven't listened to in a long while. Very enjoyable.

Next up and last for tonight.
I remember getting introduced to this album my college freshman year '87-'88. Just blew me away! Still played regularly.
Latest offering from Blanck Mass. Playing the 9 nine-minute blitzkrieg “Rhesus Negative” nice and loud before going out for 'beer n curry'
Op. 132 from the Tokyo's final Beethoven cycle. Autumnal performances, with a warm sophistication that may sometimes seem at odds with the daring structure of this music, but never less than beautiful. Again, the SACD layer adds a new insight to a familiar recording.
Cheers
