2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Both are such superb albums but very differing styles as I am sure you are aware. We can all argue over which is Ms Gardot's 'best' album but one thing I am sure we can agree on, this is one talented lady who has the ability to have the listener drift away into another time and place. I think she is just a wonderful artist.
I've just been jumping through a few Jethro Tull albums on the NDS and haven't been able to get into any of them! This is weird in the extreme.

Oh well, Eastwood did go on to receive several nominations and awards for his later film scores, songs, and soundtracks - those not featuring his voice.
I generally love Westerns and detest musicals. Paint Your Wagon somehow combined the worst of both worlds.
