Not the easiest Tull album to get into, but one of my faves. Probably best not try "A Passion Play", next?
I don't have 'A Passion Play', which from your comment might be for the best. Yesterday I tried 'Songs From The Wood' and couldn't get on with that either and I really used to enjoy that one. I guess I've just grown out of Tull. I may, however, try 'Too Old to R&R' at the weekend. Fingers crossed!
I've grown out of "Songs from the Wood", too. Have you tried "Too Old To Rock 'N' and Roll: Too Young To Die"? A much more mellow, atmospheric and mature album by Tull. Ian Anderson said it could be made into a stage play, but that never happened. The gate-fold LP has a nice cartoon story of this albums concept across this inside. It sounds good on Tidal too, there are 4 different releases on there. The song "Salamander" shows off Anderson's voice and guitar playing, very well. It's a relatively quiet album, which never received critical acclaim, but I love it. Whilst on the subject of Rock theater, Genesis - "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" never became A movie. I think the excuse was, that it would be too expensive to produce. I say, that's not good enough!
Blondie - Plastic Letters
CD Rip Flac
Carter Tutti - Feral Vapours Of The Silver Ether
Beautiful, dreamy late afternoon electronica...
Been listening to this gem in the car. This must have been one of Blue Note's biggest ever sellers. Some great tunes and fine playing.
Big Big Trail, Gathering Speed on CD.
I have listened to this on Tidal a couple of times and liked it. Playing the start of the opening track LOUD is a REAL system test!!
Blue Oyster Cult - Some Enchanted Evening
CD Rip Flac
Prime live Jerry on two CDs. Arrived this morning:
the Steven Wilson remix version
Been getting quite a few runs round here, following Berts recent recommendation. Very nice, tuneful, driving, quintet jazz. Tidal.
This great album..
Kenny Drew - piano
Freddie Hubbard - trumpet
Hank Mobley - tenor saxophone
Sam Jones - bass
Louis Hayes - drums
Music Matters 2014 reissue of the 1961 Blue Note Records release.
Black Uhuru - Chill Out. Black Uhuru - Red.
Time to get into that weekend frame of mind with some chilled reggae from one of Jamaica's exponents.
Gary Clarke Jr. Live North America 2016. Tidal. Fresh out today. First listen.

Taking me back there Dave. Remembering rushing out to buy both of those back in the day. I'll have to Tidalise for them for old times sake. I did acquire a copy of "Sinsemilla" on CD recently.
Blue Oyster Cult - Fire Of Unknown Origin
CD Rip Flac
