............. not that I'm bothered, 's probably crap anyway.
Yeah - from what I've heard so far I would cancel the order ....
.
OK, I give in, Tidalising it as we speak ............... awfully good, innit?

Not being a big blues fan I'm not really qualified to comment, however I have to say it's sounding rather splendid - very "warm" almost soul like feel in places, lots of foot-tapping inducing, and hairs-on-back-of-neck-standing-up stuff. Not too much guitar histrionics so far either.
10cc - Sheet Music
Great band
CD Rip Wav
All the reggae being mentioned leads me to pull out this, perhaps the greatest of all reggae records. On CD:
Another fine example of a Blue Note classic.
Started listening to this via a random selection on my car stereo and carried on once i got home. Still a brilliant album.
Happy weekend all
Tears For Fears - The Seeds Of Love

Agreed, Graham. I only heard this for the first time last year, but it is absolutely superb.

Don't know this one. Going to check it out. Thanks for posting.
Regards, Jeroen.
This is the recent 180g pressing. I never bought this in any earlier version, but this is actually very good SQ.

What do you think of it Dave? I haven't heard it yet.

Vinyl landed a couple of hours ago and I was skeptical at first but I must say that his rendition of Elmore James's "My Baby Is Gone" is absolutely stunning and SQ is better than his previous live album. Sounding really good...
Now listening to this one:
Joe Henderson - Tenor Sax
Lee Morgan - Trumpet
Curtis Fuller - Trombone
Bobby Hutcherson - Vibes
Cedat Walton - Piano
Ron Carter - Bass
Joe Chambers - Drums
Steel Pulse - Handsworth Revolution.
No reggae afternoon would be complete without this from one the UK's finest.

Ah yes - one for later
Steven Wilson, Hand. Cannot. Erase. on CD.
I put this on and sat back to let this wash over me. The way this album changes from the sublimely delicate to hard and fast blows me away. I love this album.
This and Andrew Hills 'Point of Departure' are about my outer limits of my jazz listening ...
Music Matters 2014 reissue of the 1964 Blue Note Records issues.
When I originally purchased this I just didn't manage to get into it. I think it might have been the 'singing' that put me off. Now many years later and a few changes to my LP12 (such that the only remaining original items are the hinges and the bearing/platter - Trigger's broom?) it sounds utterly compelling listening. There's some bass cabinet resonance on one track, but drum sound is awesome. A great new rediscovery.
CORRECTION: None of my LP12 is original from when I bought this album. I just remembered I bought a whole new LP12 in the late '90s.
Just time to squeeze this one in - superb
Melody Gardot - Currency Of Man
Slowing it down a bit.
Supertramp
crime of the century - Tidal HiFi
Edward
Tracey Thorn - A Distant Shore. Her first album, more of a mini album really. I love it just as much as when I bought it in 1982.
