Ricochet was Tangerine Dream's first live album (discounting Electronic Meditation which was more of a single jamming session), recorded during the group's tour of the UK and France in 1975.

Not the easiest Tull album to get into, but one of my faves. Probably best not try "A Passion Play", next?
I don't have 'A Passion Play', which from your comment might be for the best. Yesterday I tried 'Songs From The Wood' and couldn't get on with that either and I really used to enjoy that one. I guess I've just grown out of Tull. I may, however, try 'Too Old to R&R' at the weekend. Fingers crossed!
Clive, JT's best phase imho is their early years and first three album which are more bluesy and less folkish. Try This Was, Benefit, Stand Up and I think you'll realise what I mean.
I agree with, Tony, and would add Aqualung to your 'try list' too.
Thanks for your recommendations, chaps. I have had 'Aqualung' for many years, as well as 'Too Old to R&R', 'Horses' and others. I may well invest in a vinyl copy of 'This Was', if for no other reason than to hear again Ian Anderson's version of the Roland Kirk piece.
Continuing with CD4 of Gardiner's Bach Cantatas boxset (no. 154, 124 and 32).

"This album was recorded live at Center Staging in Burbank CA with high-def cameras recording video as well. Beth and band worked with Danish producer Rune Westberg to capture the raw live sound and produced the album like a live album. The album was recorded and mixed in only 37 Days." - An Amazonian
I should listen to Bobo Stenson more. It's beautifull music in the typical ECM sound.
