What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIII)

2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Kevin-W posted:The Dame would have been 70 today (RIP). Watching that exceptional - and rather moving - The Last Five Years doc on BBC2 last night, I was minded to get this, his penultimate LP, out on vinyl:
Total agree K regarding The Last Five Years. It was a very sympathetic emotional tribute to David and his magnificent body of work.

What is it please ???

Blackstar, by David Bowie.
I saw the clip of the recording of the vocal tracks for 'Pariah' from Steven Wilson's new album and felt compelled to play 'Don't Hate Me' from the 4 1/2 album, which also features Ninet Tayeb. Now enjoying the live tracks on this EP:
Jack White, Acoustic Recordings - double (all-analogue) LP released in 2016:
First spin.
(1978)
Why, because I haven't played it in a while and its now available to stream in Hi-Res via Tidal Masters
Was forgotten how experimental this was...
So changed now to something's which is more easy to appreciate...
A classic that I always enjoy - and I can play it loudly today
Some new Ed Sheeran
The stereo remix CD enables me to enjoy this classic album all over again. Excellent package and booklet with the set too.
(1984)
I have it on redbook but its not an album that I would have bought in Hi-Res so its good to find it available on Tidal Masters, nice to bop around to while doing getting the roast chicken dinner ready
It's not only Bowie's birthday today, but also Elvis'. The King would have been 82!
This fantastic double LP is stuffed with hits and sounds pretty awesome too - it's a Steve Hoffmann-mastered all-analogue reissue on the now defunct DCC Classics label:

dayjay and Slim68 thank you for recommending this artists solo albums, this is the first time in my life i have heard any of his solo albums and what an album, absolutely brilliant, album ordered from the river.
What other albums from Fish would you recommend as "must have".
Edward
Hi ted_p
For me, a must have is Vigil In A Wilderness Of Mirrors, which was his first Solo Album and is a Stunner. Raingods with Zippo is good. 13th Star is worth checking out and Bouillabaisse gives a good history of his Music. He has his own shop at fisheads.club
Enjoy, I look forward to hearing what you think.
All the best, Simon.

I liked them when I was very young, now I can't imagine playing the music anymore....
Georgius, String Theory Via Tidal.
If you like Polish Prog Rock this is an absolute must try.
Only heard this a couple of times so far and I am hooked.
Discovered this trio on bandcamp. Really liking it.
