Cream - Fresh Cream.
OK, '60's vibe, but still ............
I remember picking this up on my way home from school , plopping it onto the Dansette .......... stunning.
Superb, we must be of the same excellent vintage.

I am not of the same vintage, however I like them as well, while more the live albums with the long version of the songs in which jamming plays an important role...
On 45rpm vinyl...
Sounding great, on vinyl...

Free - Fire and Water.
So last century.
Another great one from Dave Holland, recorded in '99. Robin Eubanks really shines on this dateā¦
There are some really cool songs on this album.
A great lyrical album of Cohen (the one with the trumpet...., not the bass). He manages with his style and timing to mesmerize especially in a live setting. Hope to see him again on this years North Sea Jazz Festival.....

Had the pleasure of seeing them live Dave.
The Who - Who's Next.
Still stuck in a timewarp here .............. but when it's this good, why not?
The delectable Ms Bush (and two lucky hounds) with Hounds of Love. Super album that I've not listened to for a while. Flac via Audirvana/Hugo
Dayjay - one of my very fav albums

Likewise, I was there on the second night of the farewell concert at The Royal Albert Hall.
Travelled down , gloomily thinking "Why are they packing it in?
On the night, it turned into a celebration of their music.
Travelled home thinking "Top that, anyone, if you can".
Very enjoyable on fuchsia pink vinyl - even looks good on the turntable! Aimee Mann back to her best IMHO

I've had a soft spot for her ever nice she played with Rush
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced.
Finishing off this evening's sixties fest with the obvious choice.
Again, one picked up on the way home from school, myself and a couple of mates gathered round the trusty Dansette ................... sound of jaws hitting floor ...............whaaaaat on earth is this?
A defining moment in my musical education.
Only guitar and trumpet, but well done
Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, their first album with Dio and one of my faves. Flac via Audirvana/Hugo

There's not many albums you can say are truly great but this is one of them, Carole King and Tapestry, 24 bit Flac via Audirvana/Hugo and damned good it sounds too
Music from the Stanley Kubrick film, great synergy between music and imagery:
