Super album isn't it? I have increasingly come to like his work, have you heard the live version? If not, its available on Tidal.
Great music the piano however doesn't sound completely perfect as happens more on these older recordings, while we do. also have some excellent sounding albums out of this period...
Chaconne: Edna Stern (piano) | Amandine Beyer (violin)
Johann Sebastian Bach | Johannes Brahms | Ferruccio Busoni | Rudolf Lutz
Chaconne x 4
This is a foot-tappingly good album. Great guitar, great bass, and Hammond organ too. Fantastically recorded and just very, very enjoyable.

It is - nice and mellow post dinner listen with a glass of Red. I'll investigate his live album - thanks Steve
Fink - Biscuits For Breakfast.
Been pushing this chap on the forum lately, so have a bash at this.
A more stripped down album than the others I've mentioned.
Available on that wunnerful Tidal thingy.
John Hiatt - "The Open Road" (2010)
