Fans of the Jayhawks should listen to this one.

Just dug out a bunch of old albums that I haven't played in awhile.

Sometimes I just have to play something by Simon Posford from one of his various incarnations, Younger Brother, Hallucinogen or Shpongle. This one was a follow up to a Flock of Bleeps.

The King's astonishingly well-recorded comeback LP from 1960. This is the Steve Hoffman-mastered, all-analogue version put out by DCC some 20 years ago:

Original UK vinyl from 1981. Received very, very mixed reviews when it first came out, but I think it has aged extremely well (although the cover is STILL pretty horrible):

Lenny/NYO: Brahms Symphony No.3

Emotionally charged like watching a Hollywood tear jerker. Quite urgent giving the music huge dynamic and *animated* effect. As usual, Lenny's reading, particularly, from his NYP era is more theatrical than usual.

I've been playing most of those albums today! Thanks for introducing me to this music, a while ago.
