Dark ambient electronic music typical of Steve Roach's other output which is always interesting.

It can be tried on Bandcamp.

Not their best album but by any other standards its very good indeed with of course their usual great sound and production qualities.

That's a good way to start Jeff.

Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood. Out Louder?

Pure chance, but I just stumbled across this on Spotify whilst in the process of trying to find the John Mellencamp album from the 2016 discoveries thread..

Anyway, a World away from Mellencamp, but really good stuff to listen to while cooking !

Gorillaz: Demon Days. A little simian stimulation from Mr Albarn & Hewlet. All three albums are quite superb, but I think this has the edge - always enjoy Dennis Hopper's voice over on Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head, plus Shaun Ryder on Dare too. A fascinating creative melting pot.

Been listening to Elvis Costello/Burt Bacharach album painted by memory from about 1998. Never was a fan of Costello, but he really sings his heart out against a backdrop of Bacharach arrangements, worth a listen.

Percy found  his feet eventually although his first two records, despite a couple of hits, were nothing special.

Just because I started humming Man-Erg. Mind you, it's a fabulous album.

It's a funny thing - I play a few records but keep finding myself drawn back to this.
