2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Warm Your Heart Aaron Neville 's 1991 (second album) produced by Linda Ronstadt, who also guest vocals on four songs, Rita Coolidge sings on three. Other guests include Ry Cooder, saxophonist Plas Johnson, Bob Seger, Dr. John, Bob Glaub and Dean Parks.
This album has worn well over the years.
Original Vinyl.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Unplayed here for at least twenty five years. Far more vibrant than I expected. But I think it's safe to say I've never played it at this time of day before.

LP1 of this boxset...
On vinyl...
John Martyn - One World
Seems it's a real slackers morning. At this rate I'm still going to be in my pants at midday.

Music Matters 2017 reissue.
UK first press vinyl. Played very loud. Why? 'Cause I is cheesed off; and because primitivism is definitely the way to go sometimes.
Haven't heard this in years. This is the 1997 MCA/Experience Hendrix LLC reissue on double vinyl. Already I'm beginning to realise that this one doesn't get as much of a spin as it should.
On one-sided 12" vinyl. A recent acquisition.
American vinyl from sometime in the 90s I think...
Great jazz from Norway.
Cover-hit wonders from the late 1960s, on early 80s vinyl. Motown's first white signings who were actually hitmakers, so they say.
Another recent purchase: Bowie's No Plan EP one one-side etched vinyl:

Listening to his up and coming Live album reminded me to listen to one of his old albums.
Had the pleasure of seeing him live once at Red Rocks on a warm evening and his voice just soared.
Ewen, I can't see the second Dan Fogelberg album you have posted. Which is it please?
Nigel its Windows and Walls.
Double LP of The Chuckster's finest. Original UK vinyl from 1987:
Bo Diddley - The Singles Collection.
Oh, go on then.
"...You - can dress in pink and blue just like a child - and in a yellow taxi turn to me and smile, we'll be there in just a while... if you follow me..."
On CD:-
Wave - Me And Reality.
Thanks to Slim68 for this one.
Mark Knopfler - Privateering
Because you can always rely on MK to entertain.

My god he is a brilliant lyricist. I know most people think thart, but it's worth emphasising again and again. He's up there with Dylan as far as I'm concerned.
