John Martyn - The Church With One Bell
And very rare now.
The funerially-paced version of 'The Sky is Crying' is a favourite hi fi test piece of mine. Absolutely love that track - and pretty much everything he did. A remarkable musician....

Another run of this one via Tidal, while similar style throughout the album, many might get hooked on the first song and stay...., give it a try......, for those liking ambient pop music...

Eponymous solo album featuring the acoustic guitar of Brazilian Matheus Novaes occasionally overdubbed with another. Relaxing shoegaze style that drifts along quite nicely but never really gets anywhere... pleasant enough though.
Due to the sheer quality of their output i tend to overlook this album when browsing my Goldfrapp collection. Not today though.
It's still a lovely album and my first introduction to them back in 2000 via 'Utopia'. Looking forward to a proper listen tonight when i get home.
Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain

Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain
It was a stunning debut album and along with Tales of Us are the ones I play most, returning to time and again.
'Ornette Coleman wrote some great melodies.'
Not a statement you hear very often!
