You might be interested because this lad is good & the track  Dub Experience is a warm percussive delight - plenty else worthwhile in a Tinto Puente Parisienne style

Chris Stapleton - From a Room Volume 1

Can't stop playing this. Tremendous Album. Something to be said for 33 minutes of greatness compared to 60 minutes of mediocre music

Aimee Mann - Mental Illness

Rather nice.

This keeps popping up so i'm going to give it a go - damn you amazon and your easy ordering

James, I bought the download from Qobuz as it seemed better priced than the CD version

Hmm - never used Qobuz. Thanks Graham i'll take a look

I'd say it doesn't matter where you buy it, just buy it. It's a really good album, challenging the Dodo for her best IMHO.

Song of the Rose - Arbouretum

Psychedelic rock and a sort of acid folk album recommended by Gary Shaw. It can be tried on Bandcamp

Was exploring on Tidal, quite a haunting first song and a high male voice, give it a try.....

This is quite delightful and just the kind of find I enjoy discovering here. An interesting voice accompanied by carefully put together accompaniment.

At an offsite and keep on returning to this one during the breaks, will get it during the weekend....

Just back home early this evening from a trip to China, already getting ready to go out again, but not so far this time......The Sleaford Mods are in town. Intrigued to see what they are going to be like and how the crowd in Munich is going to react, assuming I can stay awake. But first something completely different, on vinyl:
