2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

2 Tribes - Sadly short-lived British funk-metal band from the early 1990s. Good anti-fascist stuff too.
(Not on Amazon surprisingly, so no pic)

Vinyl. An early album by my favourite Irish traditional band. The two fiddles provide great drive, the flute acts as a great foil to them, the rhythm playing supports the leads beautifully, and Mairead's vocals in both languages are lovely. The album's high point for me is Tommy Bhetty's waltz.
Never heard this before, so thought I'd try it through Tidal
A golden 'oldie' -- used to play this a LOT during the late 60s early 70s!!
