One for you to check out Edward (TED_P), Fish was the Singer/Songwriter for the first 4 Marillion albums. This has wonderful lyrics and the songs are delivered with raw emotion. Also see Forgotten Sons, Misplaced Childhood and Clutching At Straws. ATB, Simon.

The last instalment of Brautigam's massive survey of Beethoven's solo piano works ends with two sets of variations, including the most famous, the variations on a theme by Diabelli. Brautigam predictably plays these with character and superb technique but avoids excess. Staier was remarkable in his own recording on fortepiano, and by comparison, Brautigam is more conventional - but by itself, this disc is a worthy last entry in the finest survey of Beethoven's works since, well, ever.
Listened on CD-R, mastered from hires download.
