My latest Diane Krall purchase. And bought just for the music and not the album cover. Honest.

Well, I believe you Mike.

Inspired by Jeroen, I don't have the Vivaldi, so Loussier plays Bach here. Oddly enough, I first heard this when auditioning speakers at Graham's about 10 years ago, I remember twitching slightly at the thought of "schlock Bach", but enjoyed it enough to buy it when I got home. Bach's sense of rhythm lends itself well to jazz style, and Loussier does a good job here. (I also left with a pair of B&W 804s on order.)

WAV CD rip. This accidentally fell into my basket at the River last week and arrived today. Just trying CD2 for starters, couple of tracks in, seems they did a pretty good mastering job, good SQ despite the tape hiss, and it's Jimi. I have a busy day at work tomorrow,  must resist the temptation to play all 4 CDs.

My favourite McM' album, great songs each with a wonderfully written storyline that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more.

Mine too Steve - probably followed by this one.

Astonishingly crisp and clear sounding acoustic guitars and vocals.  CD rip.

Arrived Friday from the River. Really enjoyed Steven Wilson's surround mix. Just a pity it's only DTS/DD and not Hi Res LPCM. The bonus tracks are pretty good too. Really like the early version of "One Brown Mouse". The live DVD/Double CD is OK but not as good as "Bursting Out" from around the same time.

See, Johnny Cash had so many fine moments it's hard to pick a favourite, but this track is right up there...

see my edited post above. The main album remix/bonus tracks and DVD are worth the price alone (about 20 quid)

Vivaldi's 'Four seasons'  play by a jazz trio.

Wow, I thought I was the only person on the planet to possess this album.

I also have the Bach Book by Jacques Loussier (haven't played that one in a while). Regards Jeroen.

I am another so never fear.  I also have all three Bach books on vinyl some of them original pressings. I really like his trio and his lps.
