2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

My usual Sunday listening to Radio Paradise, plus some favourites old and new:
David Russell Plays Bach and very well too!
Vienna Teng - Through The Noise
Some obscure 1960's band. Enjoying this immensely! Two tracks that didn't make the album - you may have heard them recently: "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane" - as one single! The past is most certainly a different place!
Youn Sun Nah - Lento. Normal and odd at the same time. Highly recommended!
Jackson Browne - For Everyman. A very longstanding favourite.
Blondie - Parallel Lines. One of the greatest pop albums of all time, IMHO.

Very sad. All the best to you from the NigelB household. Influenced by your brother as you were, you have much wonderful music to remember him by.
He was an excellent musician and taught me everything I know.
I owe him a lot and his son keeps up the musical tradition in the family.

Ben Webster - Jazz 'round midnight again
I confess - just crawled back from la fete de les bon voisins, very long lunch followed by fairly competitive boules at which I play reasonably well, industrial quantities of good food & alcohol with my Pineau des charantes obtaining several nice comments. Followed by a thoroughly good evening finishing with a goutte de mon eau de vie 60 pourcent oh la la.

Absolutely love John's guitar work and vocals. Pop, Rock, Blues...... he is fantastic at it all.
My daughter recommended that I pick up this album 16 years ago and have enjoyed his music since.
