What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIII)

2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Chris Jones Live - Free Man
Just CJ and an acoustic guitar, live in what sounds like a tiny venue. It is simply wonderful. 'Tis on Tidal and I would urge a listen.

Nobody could accuse that one of being mumsy... I do actually have a bit of a thing about girls smoking... very sexy (especially if they are French or Italian).
In my youth I went out with a French girl who smoked so heavily I swear she was half woman, half Galouise...
On vinyl, their excellent "comeback" album from last year.

Bring back Sid I say!
2013 - vinyl - Closing the day and weekend with this superlative album by the inimitable Mr. Cave.
Chris Stapleton - From A Room: Volume 1
OK, I probably have listened to this way too frequently but I am in indulgent mood. Yes, I rather like this one.
Update: Just listening to 'Either Way' on this and it is one of the most moving tracks I have had the pleasure of listening to. CS's voice is simply stunning, no other word for it.
In glorious mono on antediluvian Capitol/EMI vinyl
Why? The sun's out and I'm wearing shorts.

Jerry Joseph -- "By The Time Your Rocket Gets To Mars" (2016)
One of my favourite Supertramp albums. An album that I think rather sums up Brexit.
An old album but a new purchase for me. Oddly, this is my first Frampton album on CD!
Kind of Blue, perhaps one of the best defining Jazz records ever produced (for me). Often played and how I wish my dear departed father in law was here to listen too, he was a great MD fan & with a nice verre de vin rouge.
& now Les McCann - The Truth
If I could only own 2 CDs it would be these two

Excellent double LP & one of the best live albums, I have a worn out copy somewhere so perhaps I should get the CD - Chercher dans la forĂȘt tropicale?
Bonnie Raitt - "Dig In Deep" (2016)

The CD will be cheaper. There's also downloads to consider. I think Mike-B on here, whose playing of this prompted my purchase, suggested there were now hi-def downloads available.
A bunch of trax of the new Arcade Fire album
A bunch of trax off the album.
Some trax off his up and coming set.
CD. Very fine performance, excellent SQ. Queyras and orchestra very well complemented.
