2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Paul Bley - The Paul Bley quartet.
another great Russell recording on Telarc. Barrios (1885-1944) was a fantastic guitarist and guitar composer from Paraguay.
On CD:-
Genesis - Duke

It's been a few months since I've played much from the Ozrics and a while longer since I have played this one, so a cold one at my side and on it goes.

Thanks Richard, that looks as though it should be good.
Fantastic Negrito - The Last Days Of Oakland.
Blues based , with hints of The North Mississippi Allstars ................... what a debut album.
It's on Tidal .................. and it's a "must hear" recommendation.
North Mississippi Allstars - Prayer For Peace.
I mentioned the brothers Dickinson in the post above, so here's their brand new album ......... a heavy shot of blues.
Most definitely recommended, if you like that sort of thing ................. and I do!
On Tidal.
Fantastic Negrito - Deluxe Edition EP.
Look what I just found!
Ain't this Tidal a wunnerful thing of beauty ............. looks like a Tidal sort of evening chez Dave.
Kandace Springs - Soul Eyes
Just too good to ignore.
Now....Sean Rowe - Magic
Being a little less accessible than a couple of his other albums, this needs a few more listens. It is a fine album by a talented artist.

Another one from the Ozrics, this album (like quite a few of their earlier releases) has a lovely SQ with a DR of 13 for those that are interested or think that it matters. Super album regardless of how you feel about the SQ.
Some fine guitar work here & nice recording
Why? bought on a recomendation in this forum & just wanted to say thank you again who ever posted.

Hi Ewemon is it a good upgrade to the original version of the album ?
Radiohead OK Computer remaster. Not done a comparison with the CD in terms of the mix but I can confirm that the rerelease sounds less harshly compressed than the original CD. In fact the hi res download sounds really good to me.
The 24/96 download is significantly cheaper from Qobuz than it is from Radiohead's own website or HDtracks if you ar ethinking of picking it up.

I always buy these type of albums from Qobuz. With my sublime thing it's always significantly cheaper...
