Joshua Redman - Wish
Smooth Saxophone......a fine album
Joshua Redman (tenor saxophone) is joined by Pat Metheny (guitars), Charlie Haden (bass), and Billy Higgins (drums)
From the website: http://www.joshuaredman.com/album/wish
For Wish, his sophomore outing as a leader, Joshua Redman enlists the talents of three of the most renowned and respected names in jazz: drummer Billy Higgins, bassist Charlie Haden, and guitarist Pat Metheny. The "wish" in question with this recording, as Joshua describes it, was "to make beautiful, meaningful music with three of my greatest musical idols."
Call that a wish fulfilled.

(2013)
This ambient album by Sunshine Young is mainly based around synthesisers but does include various other instruments bird-song and other sounds from nature, very easy to listen to whether in detail or in the background.
PJ Harvey. Uh Huh Her. On CD from 2004. There's a terse little ditty on here called "Who The F**k?" that's quickly becoming my favorite PJ song.
Starting with Handel this morning.
Bush. Sixteen Stone. On CD from 1994. Great album and I always enjoy "Glycerine"; a successful hit with no percussion, based on an electric guitar, cellos and violin.

CD. Any recommendation of other interpretations?
Two suggestions..
Cool swinging jazz on a Sunday morning. Johnny Smith is a classy guitarist.
Not the complete album but a number of trax off it. Due out 1st Sept.
Bill Evans trio - The 1960 Birdland sessions.
Great music. Sound quality is not that good, but acceptable.
Another run of this album. Not better than others but definitely a fresh take on the pieces...
Produced by John Oates.

Grant Green - Green street.
Grant Green in a trio setting with Ben Tucker on bass and Dave Bailey on drums. A very fine recording if you like guitar trios.
