Easy listening country western with several guest joining him on songs including Trisha Yearwood, Alison Krauss, Michael McDonald, Amy Grant, Patty Loveless, and Ricky Skaggs.
Close out the evening with......
Trisha has a wonderful voice.
She is a Grammy winner, Emmy winner, has appeared in TV series and movies, and listed on the two time NY Times best selling author. I have enjoyed seeing her in concert back in the 90's and own a few of her albums.
Gould's playing just does something inexplicable to my brain...
Van Morrison - Moondance
In the Sunday morning sunshine, why not.
Angles 9 - playing today at North Sea Jazz...
The Frapp, Silver Eye; on clear vinyl - seeing them later tonight.
One number through Tidal...
Just checking if I can post an image (Hot Chip - In our Heads). I can see it but apologies if it just shows as a missing link.
This is via Amazon again using the copy link address method which didn't work for me last time, but I was also experiencing some internet issues at the time.
Also today at North Sea Jazz - not sure if I will have time to see him though...
Electro glitter stomp on vinyl:
Nice jazz, heard them yesterday on North Sea Jazz Festival...

Perhaps rightfully, Claudio Arrau never recorded Chopin's etudes again. What could he have done that he had not already done in his 1956 EMI recording? His technique was essentially flawless. In each and every etude, Arrau executes the scales, the arabesques, the arpeggios, the chords, the octaves, the double octaves, the double octaves in contrary motion, and whatever else is required of a super virtuoso pianist with the utmost skill. More than that, his interpretations were quintessentially poetic. (AllMusic)
Same artist, different format. The Frapp's tribute to 80s electropop, Head First, on cassette! Sounds super on the Nak.
John Martyn - Solid Air
A lunchtime pleasure.
Endless Boogie- Vibe Killer
A number of trax off the new Ray Wylie Hubbard set.
From the excellent Vivaldi series on Naïve…
