Kicking off with CD 1 of 2 from this classic.
Streaming Tidal
Another late one so onto something a bit quieter to end the evening - listening to the final few tracks of this album which have a lovely mellow vibe. Just the ticket
Scott Matthews - Passing Stranger
Another xmas present I have finally found time to play. My original vinyl, bought on release, was one of the biggest distractions during revision for my A'levels. This release sounds really good!

Perhaps if you stopped wasting time with Brian Adams... you'd be listening to some proper music. Get your priorities right, young man.
Albion, Unsongs, Tidal.
Some really good melodic Prog.
Had to start another one before sleep, couldn't help it...
Just bought from Linn Records, Studio Master download 24/96
Can't recommend this highly enough - fabulous version of "Dreams" - get to hear the ABB with good quality sound. Greg in fine voice for their final concert ever.
Kid Rock. Devil Without A Cause. On CD from 1998. I don't delve much into dedicated rap-rock. This album has strong rhythmic drive and musicality. Very easy to get involved.

Jimi Hendrix. BBC Sessions (1998). On CD from 2010. Some artists/bands were at their best performing live, and you get that sense here.

"Asked by the Fondation Groupama Gan and Fondation Technicolor to compose a new soundtrack for this landmark French 1902 black & white film by Georges Méliès Le Voyage Dans La Lune – an enormous honour, in the French film world and beyond – Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel set about creating a modern score to bring the film to the attention of a new generation. As luck would have it, the results were ready in time for 2011’s Sundance Film Festival, and the restored film, complete with its all-new music, continues to play to audiences worldwide." - Part of a BBC review

Bit of a classic this one, going down nicely this morning.
Michael Wollny - Weltentraum. CD rip.
Usually an evening album for me, but sounding just fine this morning.
Original lightweight vinyl. Not remastered, nor remixed, nor messed with by Steven Wilson.

Then try Hendrix in the West (if you've not done so before). It starts side one with an absolutely cracking version of Johnny B Goode and finishes with Red House and Voodoo Chile. My favourite JMH album by miles.
Tony Williams - Angel Street - Vinyl
I believe he was Miles Davis' drummer when he was 17, I can hear why !
Jimi Hendrix
Electric Ladyland - 16Bit 44.1kHz Wave
First album on this Sunday morning.
Next
Thin Lizzy
Jailbreak - 16bit 44.1kHz Wave
