I've just downloaded from Qobuz to see what all the fuss is about... one track in and I'm amazed I've never come across her before! Now downloading her latest album. Thanks for the introduction.
Superfly - Curtis Matfield
Mrs Brooks on Tidal
Synthesizer Greatest volume 2
I still enjoy synthesizer music such as this one.
Have spent the past couple of hours listening to this splendid 3-CD set, which contains the albums The Price To Play and A Price On His Head, as well as every single and B-side the APS released between 1965 and 1969:
Something soothing to combat the persistent rain outside.
First CD in this four-disc box set I purchased earlier in the week. As well as better-known names such as Yello, DAF, Cluster and Borghesia this survey of early Euro electronica contains the intriguing likes of Gagarin-Kombinaatii, Truus de Groot, Famlende Forsøk and Saal 2...

Tool's main man, Maynard James Keenan, has been doing some great stuff with one of his side projects Puscifer over the years and this is one of my favourites. Anyone who enjoys Tool should like this album and Puscifer's catalogue.
A number of trax off the album, not due out until Sept.
4 trax off her up and coming album.

Cheers Kevin, this box set looks interesting.

Looking forward to this one with fingers crossed.

Oooh. I'll have to look out for that. Thanks for the heads-up, ewemon.
IMO her best album and among my very favourite albums. Nerina is wonderfully talented. I'm looking forward to seeing her perform live again this Autumn.
To go with the last leg of house chores, Jan Lundgren Trio: Charade

Only listened to the first CD Steve so far but it's really good. Worth getting as most of the stuff is pretty obscure. There's also a companion volume, Close to the Noise Floor, concentrating on UK electronica of the same perios, which I'm now seriously thinking of getting...

Thanks Kevin this was well under the radar, did you buy it from The River?
6 trax of his up and coming album.
Steave - Heard about it from superdeluxedition.com and bought it from Norman, which was cheaper than the River. I got it for about £21 all in...
