For my grandfather
just felt like hearing "she's already made up her mind"...
enjoy

1976 - Vinyl - U.K. Pressing...
A bit challenging album, nothing for the background. Needs more spins to hear the full potential.....

. Definitely a contender for an album of the year. Eagerly awaiting Vol.2 due later this year apparently.
Hi Nick,
What's all this about a "fair use" policy on the Tidal thingy?
I've not noticed, (ignored?), that before, and since I'm reduced to Tidal only at the mo', best I get up to speed.
Hi Dave - it was a tongue-in-cheek comment. No limits on Tidal usage as far as I know (and for me, I still think it's something of a bargain at £20 /month). Just don't break it please ..

Why? Liked the idea of some fancy guitar work. (He can't sing though!)

Because it's a very old favourite that I like to trot out now and again and to listen to those two complimentary lead guitars.
Forget the cover this was one of last years better rock albums.
Personally don't think they have put out a bad album.
The second track sounds like something the Strolling Bones would record.
A bit of Percy for a Monday evening
I don't think Gilmour has made a better solo album. A musical sedative.
Brad Mehldau - Elegiac Cycle
Thank you Massimo.
The Everlys recorded live in 1983 at the RAH. This recording (50p from a charity shop in Leighton Buzzard at the weekend) seems to have reordered the songs from the gig as the dialogue between tracks doesn't seem to be a logical order, but Don and Phil are in good voice, always nice to hear Albert Lee's guitar, and the songs are timeless.
On CD:-
Big Big Train - Folklore

Bert, it may be my sever or whatever, but your album images are showing up blank here. Maybe another photo bucket issue? Shame, as I value your input. Worth checking your source perhaps. Thanks for the tips on Lisa Batiashvili btw. Really good

Vol 2 might get delayed unless he has all the trax in the can as he had a detached tendon and a broken finger on his right hand and needs physical therapy.
Now playing......
Something new.......and wonderful!
First song, beautiful voice, piano, guitar, bass & drums, enjoying this....

Bert's images are working for me.
Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen playing live, a heady blend of rockabilly and country, lots of truck songs, with a good dose of humour. In lesser hands Cody and his Airmen could have been awful, but they're seriously hot musicians, and the songs work.
