The original Alan Parsons 4.1 MLP DVD-A surround mix, as the album was supposed to be heard. The best version by far!

It's been far from a summer's day here but this album needed doing.

Banjo and bass, recorded live, and really most enjoyable.

I hope you enjoy it. There are six of these Jazz (not bass!!) at the Berlin Philharmonic albums, of which I have five, and this one is probably my favourite.

.....i must of been thinking about the fish we are having for lunch!

Rockin the house

Not seen Fred around here for a while...

Although this was recorded in the early '90's, Fred Simon is widely regarded as a fine session musician. If you like straight ahead jazz fusion, then you shouldn't pass this up. Very Nice!

Rather more like Tangerine Dream than Steve Hillage, but highly enjoyable all the same. Great music to chill to.

That takes me back.. used to have on vinyl... not sure if some of the pitch shifts were my turntable faltering or on the master

Definitely music to trip by... if you do such things of course......

This is really upbeat, good time jazz singing, with a very live recorded sound. Very good indeed.

There aren't many legitimate characters left in popular music; the rotund Sleepy LaBeef isn't a media concoction or collection of outrageous clichés exploiting a carefully built image. He's a simple, hard-rocking vocalist with a manic performance style and musical approach who seamlessly blends rockabilly, classic rock & roll, gospel, and country boogie into a non-stop, attacking mode. This 12-track live set from 1985 includes LaBeef renditions of "Milk Cow Blues," "Ring of Fire," "Tore Up Over You," "My Toot Toot," and a rousing concluding medley that includes "Jambalaya" and "Folsom Prison Blues." No-frills, unsophisticated, joyous roots music without reverence or pomp.

I'm guessing around 1992. Fondly rememeber Studio 99 as where I bought my Planar 3 with my first post-graduation pay packet.

The xx - I see you

Beguiling on vinyl.

I too bought a Rega Planar 3 from Studio 99, although it was earlier than 1992 as part of my post graduation treat to myself.
