Out of curiosity James are you pleased with the upgrade to your newly returned item?...
Oh yes. The 14 day separation was worth it. It's settling back in very nicely thanks
Presently enjoying this album. Dusty would've been proud (and the recording / production is top notch too) - sublime listening.

Laura Mvula - The Dreaming Room
Interesting and very distinctive
Dave McKenna is a jazz pianist with probably one of the best / active left hands.
Albion, Remake, Tidal.
Carrying on with Albion from last night, This 2006 Album has some early Marillion overtones, which with a Female vocalist works very nicely.
docbot posted:The fist toe dipping into the great Maria Callas box set just downloaded from QOBUZ (a ridiculous price of £7.34!). My first performance is the 1957 Galliera - Il Barbers di Siviglia. Really enjoying this. Qobuz 24/96
Still sad to see that the U.K. Guys sometimes get this ridiculously cheap deals while it's much more expensive for us in mainland Europe...... I also want a Brexit...
..great album by Pat, like it as the studio album which forms the base...
Michael Wolny keeps on producing high quality output. I am Loki g forward to his next trio album...
The Rolling Stones No.2 in mono from the In Mono vinyl box set. Sounds amazing. Blimey!
Continuing with Michael the studio album before, also great...
Continuing with another CD of Dave McKenna.
1973 - Vinyl - US First pressing...
Baron Von Tollbooth & The Chrome Nun
Grace Slick - Paul Kantner (Jefferson Airplane)
David Freiberg ( Quicksilver Messanger)
Gerry Garcia and David Crosby among many guests.
This was delivered earlier today. I have had the original CD for decades and decided to buy this remastered version because of the two extra tracks and because I did the same with 'Rising for the Moon' and was impressed by the improvement in SQ relative to the original. Well this is SO much better; it's like hearing it for the first time all over again. Ripped to the NS01 and streamed through the NDS it sounds superb. There's so much I hadn't heard before and not just the additional tracks.
For those who don't recognise the sleeve, it's 'Unhalfbricking' by Fairport Convention. It contains Sandy Denny's best known song, 'Who Knows Where The Time Goes'.
Best Coast on vinyl.
Exploring this one...
A new arrival, Red Garland and company. Delicious blues playing, I just wish that the recorded sound could be better.

Rosie Thomas - When we were Small
Domestic, intimate, occasionally dark, intense and ultimately with feelgood.
Another Late Junction find.

For no particular reason other than its one of my favourites RT albums and I had that buzz from his amp' doing that thing in my head which needed scratching.

Little Feat - Dixie Chicken
Following Stevee's earlier post. Tidal.
Carmen Gnomes 'Little Blue' downloaded from Sound Liaison in 24/96 while on offer @ 24/96. i like it, but as with 'Thousand Shades of Blue' feel it will need multiple plays to really appreciate it - her style is so different, even with familiar songs!
