What an incredibly broad set of musical interests you have Bert

Yes, I am going from light classical music to very heavy progressive metal music. The only things I don't like are country music and hip hop....

B.I.L.L. - Spielwiese 2

This is Bell (Jah Wobble et al.), Irmler (Faust), Liebezeit, Lippok (To Rococo Rot) in a typically mixed bag of krauty goodness, all tied together by Jaki's imaginative drumming.

I am starting to enjoy the music of Gerry Mulligan more and more...

Bruce Hornsby a great musician and pianist. Started out as a pop / rock musician but is influenced by both Jazz and Classical music which can be heard during his live performances. This CD is a good example of that.

The first track, about 7/7, never fails to elicit an emotional response and take me back to that day.

Original vinyl

Why? Criminally under-rated trio's one and only release. I saw them support The Quireboys (who were cr*p) at the Hammersmith Odeon and bought the LP at the first opportunity.

Very well recorded (double album ) with good SQ, I'm settling down with a decent malt, Sinatra and Count Bassie for what was one of those classic recordings that captured a great night in Vegas.

Another late one so onto something a bit quieter to end the evening - listening to the final few tracks of this album which have a lovely mellow vibe. Just the ticket

Scott Matthews - Passing Stranger

Not heard any of this gentleman's stuff before today but listened to this tonight on Tidal and very much enjoyed it.

Nice recommendation, James.
