Bought it this morning, going to get my air guitar and give it some very soon...
It takes 5 seconds…
As a world leader Presidet Trump should listen to this …
As promissed, III. 24/96 WAV
Following with one of their best...
Gotta Say the track 'Everything Now' pushes all my buttons and is a fave of the year so far.
listening to the C major, K.467...great performance!
Things have been very busy of late so i'm making the most of a quiet Saturday. Time to sit down with a couple of beers, listen to a few favourites and catch up on the WAYLTAWMABI thread
Starting with this one
Sarah Jarosz - Follow Me Down
24/96 WAV. In a rock/blues mood. Great album imo
Back to some safe ground with John Scofield. This seems more conventional than the album I was playing last evening.

Got this but not listened to it yet. I know, I know
Can't get enough of that Russian stuff? Got to have more of that late-Romantic Rachmaninov? Need to know more than that arch-sensualist Scriabin? Then Nikolay Medtner is your man, Marc-André Hamelin is your pianist, and this disc (Forgotten Melodies) is your recording…(AllMusic)
On CD:-
John McLaughlin - Extrapolation
Band of Gypsys - great album -- got a lot of play on vinyl in my younger days :-)
enjoy

16/44.1 WAV. I'm impressed with this album. Loving his voice.
Bought this the other day whilst looking for another K.D Lang track. The mood of this album and the music suits her fantastic voice perfectly -
Tony Bennett & K.D Lang - A Wonderful World

Loving this. If you like your blues with some edge, then you might like to give this a whirl. As well as great vocals there is some superb guitar playing and harmonica blowing on this. Good choons too.
Cheers Ewe.
Now playing......
Enrico Rava & Enrico Pieranunzi - Nausicaa
I saw this mentioned by HAIM RONEN yesterday and wanted to give it a spin. Really enjoy the trumpet & piano combination and after listening to the first three tracks this album is put into the 'Favorites!'
Sitting back with a cup of coffee on a overcast Saturday morning and the music is relaxing and feels perfect.
Spandau Ballet - Once More
2009 album from the reunited '80s New Romantic quintet. On Once More, the band revisits eleven of their biggest hits and throws in two brand new tracks: 'Once More' and 'Love Is All'.
The lead singer has a good voice and the songs will grow on you. Cost £2.99 at Oxfam.
Phil
16/44.1 WAV. Loving this too. Have her second album on the way.
Freddy Kempf
Bach - Partitas Nos 4 and 6.
Freddy kempf hasn't recorded much of Bach's music. That is unfortunate because he plays is so well.
This Jazz fusion album from Stomu Yamashta which can sound a little of its time but worth seeking out featuring Klaus Schulze, Al Di Meola, John Peter Robinson, Al Di Meola, Linda Lewis & Jess Roden. It can be picked up cheaply on Vinyl here:

Tony Bennett & K. D. Lang - A Wonderful World
To keep the mellow Saturday morning vibe going along I thought I would follow the lead of JAMES N above and take Tony & K.D. for a spin.
Mellow and soothing.....
