Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, & Jimmy Cobb
Downloaded the Hi Res 192/24 version of this album. Just fantastic, wow!
Hmm, I see this is also available in SACD, I might just have room for one more copy...
That version is nice (both stereo & mono). The MFSL (MoFi) hybrid and the Sony single layer SACDs are pretty good stereo versions, as are the DSD files. But to be honest I have not heard a bad re-issue of KOB, and I have had 17 versions over the years!
Disk 3 from this boxset, on vinyl...
Another summer......
Tyler Childers-Purgatory
Oscar Pettiford Sextet
Rich Robinson-Flux
Just Finished.....
Vince Gill - The Essential Vince Gill
......start off a Friday morning with a little country!
Now playing.....
Joe Pass - Hall Volume 1
Time for some nice jazz guitar......
Enjoy your coffee Seakayaker! I'm on my beers!

very interesting to come across this one again Gianluigi....I got stuck in a bit of an 80's moment this week with Boo Hewerdine seeing the light of day from my racks
and the Icicle works tucked behind that.
(1991)
Introducing the Atom to the 'Ozrics for the first time... I think it likes them .

Good! I'll investigate this record as i din't know it! Meanwhile i got brand new Catherine Wheel-Ferment and Slowdive-Pygmalion. Good old days....
Somebody ask for some sometimes.
There's a new album from Vijay Iyer out on the 25th, but for now there's this...
Passenger - the boy who cried wolf
There is nothing obviously great about this album, I just like it. That is probably its charm for me in that it doesn't try too hard to grab your attention, and therefore, it does. Intriguing. May have to take a dive in a South American river.

all good stuff Steve, just had a moment where I thought the music of the 80's was generally crap (in comparison to my main reference of the late 60's/70's) and after some digging, these gems are a useful reminder that it wasn't all bad.
