After listening to the two sisters album, I thought I would take Shelby Lynne out for a spin.
Now Playing......
Shelby Lynne - Just A Little Lovin'
Shelby's personal homage to the late, legendary Dusty Springfield, 9 out of 10 tracks are linked to Dusty.
The 'I Can't Imagine' was a sweet album and decided to move on to one more Shelby's album. Enjoying the music......
Great voice and great songs. The album is actually called Trail Four.
4th play and it's really starting to grow on me. Full of great tunes.
David Fray - Bach
There are many good recordings of Bach's partitas. This is another fine example. When you listen to David Fray you will hear that he emphasis different lines. He plays the opening of the six't partita much slower than most do, but is very beautiful played.
A good one to have in your collection.

Re-watched the Beeb documentary about the making of this album ............. a real hoot, and well worth a viewing.
An essential album, IMHO.

That'll be going on after this one ........... as I say, the Beeb programme was a hoot, and has rekindled my enthusiasm for one of my hometown bands.
Can see it being a LOUD evening, chez Dave.
