His Art of Fugue is imho superb and highly recommended - it's also my favourite AofF (on piano)

George Cables - Bluesology
From allmusic.com
This is one of a series of excellent trio dates made by pianist George Cables for Steeplechase during his tenure with the Danish label. Joined by bassist Jay Anderson and drummer Billy Drummond, Cables offers a mix of familiar standards and jazz compositions, along with his own tasty originals. His dreamy rendition of "Easy Living" is spacious, with understated bass and careful brushwork, while he romps through a playful setting of "(There Is No) Greater Love" and begins "Come Rain or Come Shine" with an inventive out-of-tempo solo. The fiery, percussive take of Dizzy Gillespie's "A Night in Tunisia" and infectious interpretation of Randy Weston's "Hi-Fly" also stand out. Cables' originals are just as potent, as demonstrated in the hip Caribbean flavor of "Voodoo Lady" and the constantly shifting "Ebony Moonbeams," with a recurring Latin rhythm.

(15th September 2017)
First run through of this remastered collection of their singles which includes both A and B sides, celebrating their 50th anniversary. The second I've yet to try but delves into some of their post Jim Morrison music and then live material from some of their radio gigs. Yet another remaster but it sounds not too bad at all .
(1971)
Another great early 'Stills album.
Started the evening with the first version of Mare Nostrum, the 2nd version is in my ears better, while it's still a nice album...
I then switched to this one. Great album. While the 1st album was slightly better...
Now giving this album a 1st go...
YT random pick!
