2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
And now this one, which I only have on CD. Again through the NDS. This is a delightful album and, apart from Grey and Pink, not a bad place to start for Caravan newbies.
(1967)
Eschewing the Hi-Res Remasters for a while this one is from an original 1985 German Elktra Label CD.
Blue MItchell - Blue Soul
2001 - CD (rip)...

Helen Merrill & Dick Katz - A Shade of Difference. CD rip
(1998)
King Crimson - Islands [Vinyl]
Laura Shay - Bittersweet
Bittersweet indeed. Took me a few listens to warm to this. But it now gets a regular outing.
Now Playing......
Peter Gabriel - Live Blood
A live album with a good mix of old and new........
1989 - vinyl - UK first pressing...
Gregory Isaacs - Maximum Respect.
Dancehall Ragga from Gregory ................... something bouncy and happy to get the evening going ............ who better?
Jimi Hendrix - Loose Ends. Because I hadn't heard it before. Loose Jams with a lot of studio talk, but quite fun.

Horace Andy - Living In The Flood.
You've heard Horace many times doing chilled out vocals with Massive Attack ............... good isn't he?
Thelonious Monk.Prestige LP 7027, 24/44.1 flac this time! Monk's Blue Monk intro comping always gets me!
