I will definitely download this one later...
Sounds good so far...
I was listening to this yesterday at work and heard the sad news this morning. Time for another play -
Tom Petty - Wildflowers
Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia. Ov biospheres and sacred grooves.
1992-93 Album.
Aging very well. Although when it came out, there wasn't anything that sounded quite like this.
The soundtrack to one of my favourite films. Lovely music and some seismic bass too.
Thomas Newman - American Beauty
1st run - good impression...
Anthony Hamilton - Ain't Nobody Worryin'
Another of my bargain purchases. Tricky to define. R&B certainly with Soul and Gospel (and even reggae on one track) influences.
An entertaining listen.
Anthony's lookin' good in his red turtle-neck and check cap don't you think. Gonna get me a diamond earring too!
Ben Howard - I Forget Where We Were
Very chilled.
This is very,very good. *

It certainly is
Now playing......
Chris Anderson & Sabina Sciubba featuring Billy Higgins and David Williams- You Don't Know What Love Is
Chris Anderson (piano), Dalbina Sciubba (vocals), Billy Higgins (drums) and David Williams (bass)
Something soothing for a Tuesday Morning, a wonderful trio and vocals, a lovely album.....
"....I stopped by the bar at three A.M.
To seek solace in a bottle, or possibly a friend
And I woke up with a headache like my head against a board
Twice as cloudy as I'd been the night before
And I went in seeking clarity.....!
Gary Burton - New vibe man in town.
NAIM_NYMPH pointed me to this excellent album by Gary Burton. It's in a trio setting (vibes, bass and drums).
From allmusic.com
Vibraphonist Gary Burton's debut as a leader shows that he was a brilliant player from the start of his career. Utilizing a sparse trio that includes bassist Gene Cherico and drummer Joe Morello, Burton(even at this early stage) sounds quite original and unlike his predecessors (Lionel Hampton, Red Norvo, and Milt Jackson). Highlights include "Joy Spring," "You Stepped Out of a Dream," and Burton's original "Our Waltz." This boppish set is easily recommended.
(2010)
Prompted by Tobyjug and joining in with some fine earlier Ulrich and Jonas, an album named Epic.
On CD:-
