A kind of odd collaboration for me. But with Michael Wolny involved it always is an entertaining result...

Tom Adams - Silence

Achingly alluring, atypically atmospheric and absolutely absorbing.

I'll move on to the letter b with the next one.

(2006)

Because some days (or weeks) I enjoy getting stuck in the rut of fuzzy, hazy, psychedelic rock and drone from the likes of The Black Angels, Wooden Shjips, Moon Duo, Josefin Öhrn and their ilk

The one album of him which I think is very good, and not because of Coltrane - even while it's a bonus...

Dug out some of my favourite LPs after my 'ladies days' !

Not quite got through them all yet, but they do take me back to when I 1st heard them and was at the time (feebly) trying to play the trumpet !

Miles was unique !

P.S. It is assumed  'Kind of Blue' is included !?

It's hard to believe this was from a cassette recording direct off the mixing desk - it's that good. Apparently it features the only known live recording of 'Talking to the Sun', originally one of the studio cuts on the album 'Live Herald'. This is about my fourth play so far and it's really rather enjoyable.
