2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Listening now to this...
CD rip:-
Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever, a great album almost a greatest hits in it's self. Although a TP album most of the Hearbreakers (and a lot of the music industry) are on this album.
Three tracks from Ryan Adams upcoming new album available on Tidal. Sounding rather good - particularly this one.

Far from their best but it's the Dan and very laid back listening.
Brad Mehldau and Chris Thile. Tidal.
A curious blend of piano and mandolin. Not quite sure - although I have played it a few times.

Just to make a pleasant listening change.
Massey Hall 1971 - This captures NY at peak confidence - yet still exuding a kind of vulnerability - in a great live recording.
A true classic.

I don't know about you Mike but I was very disappointed with this one from them.

With a superb version of Cohen's Suzanne.

Old lte 70s/early 80s non-barcoded vinyl. Why? Because it's got "Symptom of the Universe", perhaps the greatest metal riff ever laid down on it. Cover's nasty, though.
Why because its a great recorded live album...
1987 UK Polydor label 9-track vinyl.
Great album
Now into another great album...
