2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.
Last year's thread can be found here;
Then even better my recent eclassical Christmas deal...
Earlier this evening, a interesting modern jazz album...
This is a wonderful album, which I’ve not seen anyone else post. It’s a sort or jazz/ambient opera rework. It sounds as if it would be crap from that description, but it’s brilliant.
Now listening to this newly acquired artist one, ok not magnificent...
Bjarne Nerem - Mood Indigo
Smooth, late night sax. I said 'sax'
Bill Deasy, Dave Brown - "Glory Bound" (2017) duo release by former bandmates in Gathering Field.
Musimgauze - citadel. One of those more chilled Muslimgauze ones. Rather good!
(October 2017)
Some fine ambient electronic sounds to start the day with.
Chasing Trane on Netflix.
Fink - Horizontalism.
A bit of early morning Fink, not his normal style, quite dub in places ............. perfect with that wake up espresso.
Jimi Hendrix - Blues.
Jimi does the blues .............. more morning espresso wake up music.
A selection of trax

That takes me back as I had 'Satellite' on a 12in single. Just ordered the album so thanks for the reminder Ewemon
Van Morrison - Roll With The Punches.
Van does the blues .................. another fine recommendation from Ewemon ..................... nice one!
Jefferson Aeroplane - Crown of Creation - CD Oxfam £1.99
Some really creative electronic sounds from 1968. The cover and lyrics sum up the feelings of the younger generation at the time particularly west coast USA.

Slowly Rolling Camera - Slowly Rolling Camera (2014)
"Atmospherically soulful, electronic-tinged Welsh R&B outfit." - from AllMusic.com
