Listening to the whole of this album and what an amazing show this must have been. Now on to Disc 3 and the tracks from one of my favourite Kate Bush albums (Aerial - A Sky Of Honey) . My only complaint about this album is the variable SQ on some tracks which can at times be rather too dense and bass heavy,  'Top of the city' from Disc 1 for example. Her voice has aged well and some tracks sounds all the better for it.

Anyway it's nice to close my eyes and just enjoy the show - anyone who managed to get tickets must have enjoyed something rather special

Dubxanne - Police in Dub.

All the big hits .................in dub!

An absolute hoot, yet strangely compelling, it's on Tidal.

I can scan quickly through the thread and guess the posters  . This looks intriguing and after some of your other great recommendations Dave i must give this a listen

BBC Radio 4 Mastertapes: Tom Jones Praise & Blame. Podcast download.

A fascinating insight into the background to the recording of a truly superb album.

Ready in the queue, the album itself.

Yes indeed - I came across the R4 program in the car on Wed I think and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Tidalised the above album - rather enjoyable.

Thanks for the heads up on this program - I love things like this so will be a having a listen. Fantastic album too - Tom at his best

PS - Just going through the Podcast list and found they cover Steel Pulse ' Handsworth Revolution' too. Great find

Most kind James, if you have a bash, and enjoy it, you might want to have try at this one .......... equally bonkers, yet,  ........... brilliant!

1st run, I already had an other album from here, she is quite advanced on piano. But more traditional than Hiromi...., more towards Oscar Peterson type of style...

Should have been even more accurate she does also have some Hiromi traits and does also play modern ragtime music...
