2017 has arrived today, so time to start this thread afresh.

Chris has been around for a long time. I haven't heard the album above but try the following
Dancing with the Muse
Eros
Desires of the Heart
I am led to believe that Brio and Maya are also good albums but personally haven't listened to any of stuff since the early 90's.
Listening to Maya as I post this as a catch up and it sounds quite nice.
Funny I just have this one since a short while, while others might have run this one multiple times already...
Like this one more...
A seriously overdue afternoon off just to listen to music. CD-R, burned from down sampled high res master.
Cheers

Blues with some jazz licks.
A good surprise: BIS' latest issue introduces Chinese pianist Haochen Zhang to the wider public. A very serious young man by the sounds of it, not quite past the point of the 'every note is important' competition phase, but these are definitely performances to return to, full of integrity and with no place for showboating. Sound in hires is magnificent.
Cheers,

Wow. Like R&B and Soul like it used to be done.
Some nice (smooth) jazz at the end of the afternoon.
The next 5 albums pulled out for listening to.
On CD:-
The Rolling Stones - Blue & Lonesome
Sloop John B posted:This is an excellent album of Led Zep Covers with the sort of twist that makes you reevaluate some of the songs.
It's on Tidal and well worth the click.

If I still had a Tidal subscription I most definitely would. Have you heard any of the Dread Zeppelin versions? Their interpretations are very interesting.
