Ndac and 2 x 330 watt amplifier

Hi guys

My Naim ndac is connected to a 2 x 330watt amplifier from another famous british manufacturer. As I bought the amplifier directly in Britain it came with a british power cable. To let it fit in a belgium power input I use a UK EU adaptor rated max 16 amperes or 3680 watt. Could it be that my amplifier sounds duller because of the power socket adaptor ? Should I buy a new belgian EU power cable ? Is 16 amperes enough for a 2 x 330 watt amplifier ?

Kind regards

Surely all you need to do is change the plug?

I think Im gonna buy a new power cable ? The power cable is a uk type. Not fitted for Belgium. I have the impression the uk eu adaptor socket decreases quality.

Yes, it probably will reduce quality. Why not just change the plug, rather than buying a whole new lead?

Yet, the standard UK plug is only rated at 13A so 16A should be fine IMO. The UK plugs and sockets do however seem rather more substantial than the EU counterparts...
