Splitting contacts of Naim Nac A5

I would like to connect my Nac A5 speaker cables to a non naim power amp. However, the plugs of the Naca will not fit and I wonder if it is possible to separate the contacts/plugs going in to the amp by sawing through the plastic without destroying the internals of the cables?

You can just pull the pins out of the plastic housing without the need to deface anything.  Retain the housing for when you get a proper power amp!

Just remove the black plastic box using the single screw on the back. I would recommend covering the exposed parts with heat-shrink tubing if you do this.

Thanks! I have not noticed that there is a screw on the back but will check this out as soon as I get home.

I also want to point out that I do have the proper, modern plugs that can take modern speaker cables on my amp, it's just that the plugs on the amp sit narrower than those of the Nac A5
