Cover Art with N-Stream
Posted by: iburnell on 31 July 2011
Have recently got iPad2. Downloaded N-Stream to control my Uniti. Works fine but no cover art
I ripped all my CDs using DBPoweramp to Flac onto NAS drive. Each folder contains file folder.jpg with the cover art so would I not expect to see that ?
What UPnP server are you using on your NAS?
Tog
Netgear Readynas Duo
I have a readynas NV+, which is like a duo but with two extra drives. The inbuilt readynas upnp server doesnt serve artwork to my system either.
I have howerver installed twonkymedia (cost about £10) and that works perfectly, serving up artwork to my iphone.
There is information on either the readynas or linn forums on how to do this (hope I'm allowed to mention these). You can install a trial version first to see if it works for you.
Interesting. So what does Twonkymedia do ?
Steven. I looked in the nas forum but couldn't make sense of how to add Twonky to the media. It implies you can effectively install it through the NAS as an add-on ? - Could you expand how to do it maybe ?
Good morning
I have the same problem of iburnell.
In practical i ripped my cds with db poweramp and I get the files in FLAC.the files contain the covers of the albums.
I have installed n-stream on him the-pad.
My Unity through the Upnp it finds on the netgear ready nas NV+ the musical files and the tags, but the covers of the albums are not transferred
is there a solution for this problem?
It needs to change the system of the NAS?
excuse me for my English....
Thanks
If you are using Netgear Readynas upnp service you need to have cover art in file named cover in the album folder. It does not recognise folder.
Rename the files and rebuild the database and the artwork should be shown correctly.

I will try to do as say, I hope that the problem resolves him!
I will hold you adjourned!

You should refresh the cache in N-Stream before doing any changes,
