CD storage

Posted by: RoyleBlue on 31 July 2011

Am in the process of putting my favourite / most listened to 500 or so CD's onto my newly acquired HDX (which I think is great btw) and am wondering where / how best to store them - would the loft be OK or are the temperatures up there going to be too variable?

I have a humidity controlled, hermetically sealed environment available at a minimal cost

There are guide(line)s about CD storage, I have a paper on it somewhere.

Here's one link: http://www.digital-scrapbookin...ct-disc-storage.html

Temperature should be relatively low/cool, and not vary/change too much.

A loft (under the roof?) seems too warm in the summer?

(I don't know how HDX works, but it could be a good idea to get a cheap external harddrive, and copy the HDX data as an extra backup.)

The best way is to store them like Denis,
