iRadio Presets not appearing on NAC-N 272

I have set up a handful of radio presets via the Naim app on my iPad but have not yet found a way to make these visible on the display of my NAC-N 272. Is this possible and, if so, how can it be done?

I was also a little disappointed that the radio presets on the Naim app are presented as a scrollable vertical list that can only show a maximum of 7 stations at a time (with only 5 on the first page). Is there no way to have a grid of icons that crams far more stations onto the screen? Such a layout would be much more practical and also look a lot slicker.

I've just found that the Naim remote control has a button marked Presets, but I was actually hoping for an option on the front panel of the 272.

Have you found that pressing the remote 'Preset' twice brings up your Preset list on the front panel display  ???   Thats about as good as it gets,  all a bit clunky. iPad is the way but I get your point on the way the screen display is spread out.

You have to press it twice? Once seems to work for me. Not that I really use it, I don't see the point when the app has it all there in your hand.

My NDX is press twice to open up to scroll the presets,  but like you, my remote sees the light of day about once a year ..........  as I say in my post "iPad is the way"

I agree haggis999 comment on the preset screen layout - I've raised it on beta,  but there's bigger fish to fry in that part of the world at the moment.

Are we talking at cross purposes here? If I press the Presets button once, I see presets. If I press it again, they disappear.

One press of the Preset key on the remote causes my 272 to display what station is currently playing. A second press brings up my list of presets.

Like others have said, I would prefer to avoid using the remote, but the iPad is not always the quickest solution (you have got to go and find it for a start). I would therefore like the 272's front panel to also offer me my list of iRadio presets.

A further check shows that it only takes a single press of the Preset button if the 272 was previously on another input.

Not so much at cross purposes Chris,  just not being detailed enough:

If the NDX (or whatever) is not playing anything, pressing the remote 'Preset' brings up the loaded preset list on the screen,  from there you can browse & select a station.   But again starting from the player not playing anything,  if you touch the preset button to show the preset list,  then do nothing & press again, the screen goes off.

If the player is playing something, even when its loaded to play but the amp is playing another source, press the Preset button & it shows the station thats playing, a 2nd press shows the Preset list & allows select (change station) & play,  a 3rd press is off
