The Trip

just a heads up for anyone who enjoys these Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan outings as much as I do.

Series 3 begins in a few weeks, though you'll have to look for it as it's no longer on BBC but rather has migrated to SKY Atlantic.

Oh that's a shame it's on Sky as I don't have it. Enjoyed series 1 and 2 a great deal.Great banter between them especially when there trying to out do each other.

Reading in the I newspaper this morning it's set in Spain.

The Trip is  so entertaining and cringing.  Interesting that Steve Coogan is involved in this type of comedy as on the streets he is getting the reputation as getting slightly bigheaded over his achievements, so watching the Trip is like some sort of a Fruedian trip....

Surely that's the one of the points of the programme i.e. that they play believable parodies of themselves. Anyway I hope it is as good as the first two series.

Quite possibly the first Trip was one of the top three movies I have ever seen. Without invoking hyperbole-it was brilliant, entertaining and totally devoid of slapstick. The obvious chemistry between the two protagonists is at the same level the Woody Allen-Dianne Keaton pairing. The second movie could not quite emulate the first, but I am very eager to see how the next one fares.

Ron, I say this with all respect ......................you need to get out more. The first trip movie was indeed excellent but one of your top three ever? Movie passes for your birthday!
