Cdx2 vs chord blu

I have been reading quite a few interesting posts about chord products recently. I'm not too sure if I understand everything correctly about taps and infinite filters but something I would like to explore is about these cd transports. What would be the advantage (if any) of using a chord BLU instead of a cdx2 to act as a transport into the NDS or the ndac? Has anyone used both or done a comparison?

I don't work for Chord, but Blu 1 does processing in terms of adding additional samples between the 44,100 samples that standard CD has. I think Blu 1 adds something like 4096 samples per second, but Blu2 is capable of adding a million samples per second.

At the point (1 million samples) Chord argue you wouldn't be able to tell the differences between the original signal before it was converted to digital and the recreated signal.

Please see Simon-in-suffolk reply on the DAC V1 vs Dave thread.

However it is worth nothing the Chord DACS have a pulse array DAC (as opposed to Resistor Ladder DAC used by NDS or delta sigma used by the NDX) which is also very advanced and sounds very good to my ears.

Thanks, this technology is quite impressive. Now, can the ndac actually handle that signal and process it?

Not sure NDAC will be able to take in the dual data output of Blu1 or Blu2 but certainly I don't see why NDAC can't take in the Blu1 88.2KHZ output on digital coax.
