Another Tellurium Q question
Posted by: Amused on 04 March 2017
I am deciding whether to take the plunge and get one of the TQ speakers cables to go with my SN and Dynaudio speakers. TQ cables seem to get a lot of love on this forum.
The options are (price ascending):
1. TQ Black (much discussed on this forum)
2. TQ Silver (not much info) - there is a newer version as well which is called Silver II
3. TQ Ultra Blue (it appears to be a rebadged Green)
4. TQ Ultra Black
The main issue for me is the length. Does the Naim recommendation regarding the minimum length apply with this cable? If not, I could go higher up the ladder and get a shorter length of a more expensive (and probably better) cable.
I've read a lot on this forum and elsewhere regarding the improved clarity and resolution of TQ cables over the NACA5, but I am most concerned about the low frequencies and the ability of these cables to produce deep and well defined bass.
Opinions?
