QM60 - good match for 272 / 250 DR?

Hi all -

i may have the opportunity to obtain a pair of Guru QM60s to go with my 272 / 250 DR. They will be replacing a pair of Focal 926s.

i already have a pair of QM10Twos in a smaller room powered by Dacv1 and NAP100 so I am familiar with the sound signature and how different it would be to the Focals (less sparkle, but richer midrange, etc). I love them a lot but they don't fill my living room as well as the Focal's. But have not ever heard the Gurus floorstanders and the seller doesn't want to dismantle his system for a home demo (I will be hearing them through a tube system which I'm sure will sound vastly different to Naim kit).

Any Guru fans here done an A/B on Naim kit with QM10twos and QM60s?

A 250DR should easily drive QM60s with no issues. You like the sound signature of the QM10Twos, so you'll probably like the QM60s (although this isn't guaranteed).

The real question is how well the QM60's integrate into your room, and you'll only find that out when you install them and play about with their positioning.
